Letters to Corinth
October 2nd through November 20, 2007

When people become Christians, they don’t at the same time become nice. This always comes as something of a surprise. Beginning to follow Christ doesn’t automatically give a person manners and morals. It is the same story today as it was a few thousand years ago. One city in particular, Corinth, had a reputation in the ancient world as unruly, hard-living, and promiscuous. Paul writes a letter that reviews the old ground of belief and action.

"Letters to Corinth", a series by Teaching Pastor Dave Terpstra and Community Pastor Brian Gray, walks through this instructional and inspirational letter by the apostle Paul. A firm, clear, affectionate review of belief and action is as needed today as it was then.

Spiritual Gifts Assessment
As part of the Letters to Corinth series at TNL, we are addressing the idea of learning and living within the strengths God gave us.  Here is a tool to help guide your process of learning about your gifts and strengths.  The Gifts Assessment provides insight into your strengths through an evaluation done by you and two others who are close to you.  The Gifts Description will give some descriptions and Scriptures to help you understand what strengths your assessment points you toward.
