Serenity, Courage & Wisdom

The Serenity Prayer: it is a prayer written during World War II that Alcoholics Anonymous adopted and became their central truth. Jared Mackey, along with John S. Miller, Worship Core Pastor, and Bob Krulish, Director of Pastoral Care at Greenwood Community, offer their personal reflections on this prayer for serenity, courage, and the wisdom to know the difference. The hope is through this honest conversation each of us would be encouraged to more clearly see our lives and the sovereignty of God in them.

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.” by Reinhold Niebuhr
