For God So Loved the World

Over 2000 years ago heaven invaded earth through the birth of a little baby.  The Bible teaches that Jesus was God in the flesh.  And besides all of the stories of shepherds and angels and wise men and a star, there is a single verse in the Bible that seems to sum up the Christmas story better than any other.  John 3:16 is perhaps one of the most well known verses in the Bible; and even though it isn’t normally associated with the Christmas story, it is what the original Christmas was all about. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 TNIV That’s Christmas in a nutshell.
