The Table

Around tables we share our meals; some are simple foods, some are elaborate feasts. The table is where we shape our families, contnect with our friends, and tell the stories of our day. On more than one occasion in the Scriptures, God invites us to His table. He welcomes us, not with austerity and restraint, but with extravagance and grace. It's unexpected, undeserved, and under the most unlikely circumstances. In this two week Thanksgiving series, we will listen as Jesus teaches at a dinner party, share our stories from tables around the world, and celebrate together at the table of God’s grace.
