The Next Level Church is built on the philosophy of team service and plurality of leadership. It is the contexts of these smaller groups and collectives that TNLC is led and the needs of the community are met. A team based church requires patience, humility, and a willingness to submit to each other. The Next Level Church is a reality because of the hundreds of individuals who choose to offer their time and abilities in efforts of supporting what God is doing both in and through us.


Board of Elders
Ultimately, the head of The Next Level Church is Jesus Christ. The Board of Elders is the collective leadership in which position, spiritual authority, and responsibility are shared equally. The Board of Elders is composed of both lay leaders and the Core Pastors. The Board of Elders provides general oversight and guidance to the church. The Board of Elders discerns, protects, and promotes the vision and direction of TNLC. They are the spiritual authority of The Next Level Church and responsible for ensuring the guidance and shepherding of TNLC. The development of personal character within the Board of Elders is crucial to its members carrying out the responsibility of overseeing the spiritual affairs of the church. The Board of Elders is the ultimate responsible party for the systems and structure of TNLC. The Board of Elders is the final authority for both budgeting and facilities. The Board of Elders is responsible to discern the end to which the church strives, the ways in which that occurs, and providing guidelines in which the church operates.

Core Pastors

The Core Pastor serves the unique participatory role in each of the three TNLC leadership areas. The Core Pastors serve alongside the leadership of the Board of Elders, Core Group Leaders, and the Staff of The Next Level Church. Collectively the Core Pastors are responsible for not only the oversight, but also the facilitation and implementation of all the three leadership areas. A Core Pastor shares the weight of discerning God’s desires for His Church and leading this community to that end. Each Core Pastor is the primary champion in their area. They are responsible for the financial and budgetary issues pertaining to their areas of oversight, as well as the general operation budget of TNLC. A Core Pastor is expected to be competent to develop the thoughts, strategies, ideas, programs, events, and teams in order to lead the church.

Home Group Leaders

Home Group Leaders oversee a geographic group within the context of The Next Level Church. They are able to draw from their own spiritual journey and have the ability to teach others from God’s Word in a clear and relevant way. Home Group Leaders also provide spiritual direction to those within their group. Because of the unique differences among those who participate in a Home Group, leadership requires the ability listen and interpret emotions. Leadership also requires the ability to address and carry out conflict resolution within their group. A Home Group Leader must not only have the necessary skills to lead, they must also possess the character to lead. Home Group leaders embrace the vision and direction of TNLC; they have made a commitment to see the long - term development within the community of The Next Level Church and thereby set the example for partnering with TNLC.

Staff

The TNLC Staff oversees the day-to-day operations of The Next Level Church. This includes correspondence, program development, organizational management, and care of those within TNLC. They facilitate both the resources and individuals necessary to ensure everything within TNLC is done with excellence. The Staff provides the needed support to create and develop the events, services, and opportunities of TNLC.
